Couples
Therapy
I provide therapy to support couples to navigate challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I work with couples at all stages of their relationship, whether you're experiencing communication struggles, conflict, trust issues, seeking to strengthen your bond, or deciding to separate.

In our sessions, I create a safe and supportive environment to help both partners feel heard, valued, and understood. My approach is tailored to your needs. I draw from various therapeutic techniques including Attachment Theory, Non Violent Communication (NVC), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA). I offer space for processing/talking and also offer communication models and tools where appropriate. I may suggest simple exercises for couples to try outside of the sessions if I feel this could support the work.

My aim is to help couples improve communication, resolve conflict, rebuild trust, enhance intimacy and create change in areas that feel stuck. I work with the relationship as my client, and use empathy and non-judgement to encourage each person to communicate their needs, it's important to me not to take sides. Whether you’re facing specific challenges or want to enrich your relationship, I hope our work together can help guide you both toward a stronger, more harmonious partnership, or help you find a way to go your separate ways with mutual understanding and respect.

I have experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and rape, for whom a history of sexual trauma may be triggering PTSD symptoms and impacting intimacy within the relationship. I'm also passionate about supporting new parents navigating the challenges of parenthood.
